lolz..wah today jing han was telling me on msn..saying that my blog is very dead..never update
i was quite shocked at first..cos i almost forgotten that i got a blog! oh wells..its been so long ..almost a year since i updated this blog..the last entry was when i was still in army..complaining about APEC and stuff..and now..i am already in university and started school already..

these 3 weeks of school has been busy and hectic man, cos i am staying in hall and hall life is damn happening! haha..like almost everyday also sleep past midnight kind..furthermore this week i had to do my rally for JCRC and also the elections..which i am quite excited cos i was elected as the cultural secretary! hmmmz..the next 1 year will be filled with fun and shagness, but i think the new JCRC will be fun bunch of pple! looking forward to working with them for the upcoming one year

still trying to catch up on my tutorials and readings..maritime studies is mroe like business la rather than engineering...70% of the modules are associated with business mods! dun ask me why then is it under civil engineering..ask the course coordinator! haha..

i cannot promise but i can promise i will do my best to update this blog more often! (hmmmz..this sounds very familiar, like wat i said in my rally) lolz..alright signing off already..chao!~

haha..today is sunday and i am in camp doing duty! shall spam the TV today...lolz..just another few more weeks and i will be officially out of army..two years of NS..say short not short, say long also not long, realli looking forward to be free again...haha...i am also sourcing for jobs lately..browsing thru newspaper la and internet to look for suitable jobs..hah hoping to get like an airport job..i think its interesting to work in the airport cos you get to see people from all walks of life..lolz..so if u all have any lobang please dun forget to inform me! haha..

wow..its been so long since i touch on this blog already..ever since AHM!! anw i have not been running anymore ever since then..due to my knee problem that emerged..very sian when u want to run but just cannot run kinda feeling..haiz..but anw pple are saying i am too thin..need to gain b a bit of weight..but dun wry la pple..haha after army i think i will def gain weight one..just hope i dun balloon b to 100 plus can le!

1)believe in people..believe in yourself..be an encourager..
2)warn your sheeps with genltleness and love..and at an early stage too...

Transformation of johnnie ang

today is the day..16th August...army half marathon..21km run around the city area..and i completed...all these months of running and eating less..all just to finish today's run to mark a great achievement in my NS life..the physical aspect..from being an extreme obese recruit in 2007..to a marathon runner in 2009..the sense of achievement is just amazing..realli..tears of joy shed as i cross that finishing line..

though along e way there were alot of mental struggle because of my knee problem..and i was initially very afraid that i could not complete the run due to my knee..which began to experience searing pain recently whenever i go for my run..but i held on and perservered..though at certain stage of the run esp when there is a gradient either upslope or downslope..i realli wanted to give up because of the pain in my knee..but i told myself sth that my tekong sgt always told us..its all in e mind...and i kept praying and praying the pain will somehow diminish..

in 2007..i was posted to BMTC school 1 eagle company which was meant for extreme obese recruits..and i weighed a full 114 kg as i stepped onto that little island...

after 3 months..which was halfway through..i lost quite some weight..and i had a dream..to be able to pass ippt so i can go to sispec and hopefully come b to pulau tekong wearing that red PT kit and helping fellow obese recruits and being a role model to them..eventually by the time i POP i didnt managed to live my dream..because i didnt managed to pass ippt..however i have lost quite a significant amount of weight..and i was 84 then..a whooping 30kg lost in 6 months...

then i was given another form of section commander role..being posted to sembawang as a transport supervisor and another chapter of my life began..as a transport supervisor trainee..going thru the 5 month course from 23rd june to 5th november...

and then i passed out as a tpt supervisor..and lost more weight..to around 78 i think?

then i got posted to ALPHA 1 TPT BN..and thats where i am now..during this period of time i told myself..a lot of pple think logistics very slack and nua and i noe alot of drivers after becoming drivers will start to grow fat and all..but i didnt want that to happen to me..thats why i told myself that i will cont to watch my diet and exercise regularly..hopefully lose more weight..and so i embarked on a regime..including gng for every liferuns w/o fail..even if the previous day i was on duty..and on alt days i will also go swimming in the evening..and of course watch my diet..and eat much lesser carbo...and then came the news of this army half marathon..a 21km run around the city area on 16th august..that gave me an extra motivation..and i told myself that this event will be the highlight of my NS life and will mark my losing weight journey from the time i was a 114kg recruits which had difficulty completing a 2.4km run to a 58kg marathon runner who finish a 21km run at own target timing of below 2hrs and 45 mins (btw..my this 21km timing is 2hrs and 20 mins=])

i am realli happy..realli happy..thanks to all those who had given me morale support and helped me along in one way or another throughout this journey..i realli appreciate it...

wah..its been a month plus since i last blogged! haha..well..have been very busy with APEC...anw today i had a pleasant surprise when i went over to my tutee place..haha..he passed me a PREZZIE! lolz..but it seems he thot my birthday was 23rd july..then i corrected him..that it was a month ago! lolz..but nonetheless..i realli didnt expect him to even rmb my birthday in the first place..lest the present..it was a shirt...very very happy and sort of touched..cos i love to receive presents! haha..yupps...

and just now watched liverpool VS singapore over dinner...well s'pre didnt play too badly in the first half..though u can see liverpool had most of e possession..but when liverpool struck at the stroke of halftime..everything started gng downhill..when the second half kicked off..the goals started coming in..esp after torres was introduced into the match on the 60th min mark, u can hear the crowds shouting' "we want torres!we want torres!" lolz..5-0 was the final score..but seeing the way s'pore play in the second half..i am not surprised! well looks like s'pore still got a long way to go...gambate!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY JOHNNIE ANG!

haha..23rd june..the day i came to this world..
hmmmz..about one-fifth of my life has passed..sometimes u cant help but wonder..for the past twenty years..what have you achieved?
anw today i am at home cos i got birthday off..whole day just rot alone cos my parents and brother all not around..i bet my parents dun even noe i am home right now..lolz..but they celebrated with me on sunday tgh with father's day..haha..well since i am alone..no choice but to celebrate myself by cooking a simple western dinner and i went to buy a small little cake..those kid's kind got toy plane on top somemore..very interesting..acty hor i felt like i am overseas like that..where u got no close ones around so u just celebrate yourself..the experience is quite different acty..haha..my birthday resolution is just to complete the rest of my army term smoothly without any major obstacles or what..
and i would like to thank all those who wish me happy birthday today..whether its thru sms, facebook or phonecall! haha..i receive one present :) a nalgene 1L water bottle from joshua, aik leng and kian sin..thanks man bros!!
well i think thats abt it..shall go try the konnayaku jelly i made! thanks once again to all who has wished me! i hope u all will stay happy always! SMILE AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL SMILE WITH YOU, CRY BUT YOU WONT CRY ALONE! rmb this :)

today is saturday and i am in camp doing weekend duty..sianz cos my office aircon out of order..HOT SIA! haha..rotting away in front of the computer..acty its no different from being at home but then it just feels much more comfortable at home le..lolz..hmmmz this week as usual exercise routine running swimming plus eating less lor..like today my lunch and dinner is TAO SA BREAD..i dunnoe why but recently i have a craving for tao sa(red bean paste)..though i havnt eaten one that wows me..haha..so if u all got any recommendation please do tell me! ahah...

hmmmz..ytd went b home and weigh i finally reach 64KG! thats another kg gone..though weight will acty fluctuate one..haha..hmmmz should i go down even further? well pple are starting to think i am too thin and wans me to gain a bit of weight..but i think army this period is the best to lose as much weight as possible..so that at least when finish NS there is some room for horizontal growth! haha..

still got 6 more months or so..its like a eagle duration lor..book in book out another 30 times or so..haha..cant wait to ORD!! hmmm i have a few frens thinking of signing on for 6 more months for the regular 1400-1700 bucks pay..cos outside realli rarely can get such good payfor this 6 months..but i dun wan cos i realli think army too many regimentation like a chain that chains our freedom..some vocation are slack by nature those can sign on la..but mine? definitely a NO NO..and yesh i am gonna change my number after i ORD..haha getting a plan then..so that i will not receive anymore weird calls from my company line..haha..and totally break away from ARMY!!

the time now is 1 pm...i still have like around 19 hours before i can book out..what shld i do? sianz..

heys..another week down..means another week nearer to ORD..haha lolz..on thursday went for VJC SOV'09...it seems like the highlight of the concert was ME rather than the performance! haha..they couldnt recognise or believe i lost so much weight..and gave me a lot of compliments that night..felt so happy and proud then:) so thanks guys! haha..seriously w/o u all constantly nagging and pinching my fats, i wouldnt have the motivation to keep losing weight..so i am very grateful! the most funny was irvin..i was with jeremy and enoch..then we were talking to wei jie..irvin was standing beside him..so i went to him and said..hi i am johnnie..then he looked at me and replied..hi i am irvin..and shook my hand..i was like huh?! haha we were like self-introducing ourselves..then wei jie told him that i am the one who was once very very fat and round..and he just dropped his jaws and couldnt believe it was me..haha..isabelle also..keep dun believe i am johnnie say i am fake dun wan to talk or acknowledge me! haha..a lot of dramas la..

friday went down to my parents shop help out a bit..drove to eat breakfast before sending my mum to work and afterwhich drove my dad to buy some goods..haha its been a long time since i went to buy supplies with my dad..very different..other than the fact i am in the driver seat now..haha..those suppliers never change at all! still so gibberish and one of the supplier treated me to milo packet..haha..since young whenever i followed my dad down to get supplies from him..he never fails to give me a packet of ice milo! haha..its been like 7-8 yrs since i went down with my dad liao..haha time realli flies!

then ytd went to watch star trek movie with aik leng and kian sin..i like the graphics a lot! haha..after the movie ks had to go first to meet his frens for soccer match between arsenal and man utd..though i am an arsenal fan..this season 我对arsenal已经心灰意冷了..as long as they are safe in the fourth position i am contended liao..haha next season we shall wait and see! this season we low profile..haha..

yupps anw so me and aik leng decided to go take night shots! with his nikon $1400 camera! damn cool la..trying out the different settings and taking the night shots..we look as if like we are some professional photographers! haha..i am like assisstant..helping him carry his bag and tripod around..fun experience and took quite a few shots...shall upload some of the photos i took on his camera! night shots of marina area!

then just now went to cook again..haha western food! a simple chicken cutlet with mash potatoes, bbq beans and salad..now here rotting away in front of the computer waiting to book in ltr! till next week..bye!

halo! i am back once again for the weekend..sunday is mother's day..so get your presents ready! haha..anw the other day i was having my nights out..went to swim afterwhich go sembawang there eat eat walk walk..i think crumpler bag very expensive..but i wish to have a crumpler bag kinda design..similar kinda design also..then i saw this zinc brown colour sling bag..look like crumpler one..the shape and all..but tis much cheaper..so tempted to buy! but its around 30 plus..and i have to save up money..so didnt buy lor..haha if u were to ask me abt what i wanna buy if i ahve the money..i will want to buy a crumpler/zinc sling bag..a nice belt..at least a pair of decent levi jeans cos all my jeans all those offer from departmental store kind(from waist 44 to 32..think shld get some new jeans right..lolz)..nice tops..a nice pair of sneakers..wooh i am stating like from top to toe la! haha..shall save up money slowly ba..this weekend i am gonna spend quite a bit of money actually..and my pay just came in! shiok! haha

well..just had dinner and catching up with shawn and benjamin..we went to bedok 85 coffee shop there to have dinner followed by coffee at coffee bean at PP..lolz..i ordered the large one and in e end couldnt finish it..haha! i realised coffee cannot drink too big a cup u will get bored of it very soon..after coffee we took a walk along katong there..talked a lot abt a lot of stuff..and ben is gng for his one year training in aussie this coming monday! the next time we will meet up will be next year liao..must take care k! wish u all e best for your training..come b a proud pilot!! YAY! got my licence today..haha..well 16 demerit points...8 pts deducted around traffic junction area..and i feel its quite unfair to deduct me..this is the situation..i was approaching the traffic junction dtill got like 100m..then i saw beyond the traffic junction got this car on hazard light stop just beyond the traffic junction..thats why i decided to change to the next lane..then all this while he just kept looking at his little laptop on his lap..then afetr i change then he look up and saw the junction then say i shld not change lane before tarffic junction...i wanted to tell him and reason out..but thot not worth it la..ltr cos of this he blackmark me and fail me how? so i just replied..yes sir..then he deduct me 8 pts! lolz..but nonetheless i PASSED..haha..but e sad thing is my dad say i cant drive his car if he is not around cos first two years of licence insurance wont cover thats why..sianz-.- lolz..
i would like to thank MR CHUA..my army driving instructor..he was e first to teach me driving though its army vehicle la..i learnt a lot from him..i would also like to thank MR HENG..which is my civilian instructor..though most of e time he is reading newspaper, on e phone or sleeping...but w/o his car i cant even take the test! haha...and also all my frens who wished me luck along e way!THANK YOU!

hmmmz..everytime have to think of how to start the entry..lolz.. the past week was a hectic week for me..everyday i went to exsercise in my free time..monday= swimming plus running..tuesday= swimming..wednesday= swimming plus running..thursday= running...friday= running..saturday= duty in camp( also a form of exercise k) ..sunday= running...haha..my target weight is 64...so that i can have a record breaking 50 kg weight loss! haha..well diet + exercise is the key to losing weight i think..and i am quite proud of my achievement i guess..lolz

wednesday is my tp liao..scary sia..i always have this bad habit..when turning right i always tend to go into the left lane..i must get the "i am not driving a big truck" mentality drilled into my head..well but pple may think that since i noe how to drive sure pass..but i beg to differ..becos road situations are like the 4th dimension..must always expect the unexpected..suddenly got taxi cut into your lane to board or alight passengers? or u see got no car liao wanna move out suddenly got car vroom pass you? or suddenly got those jay walker suddenly chiong out to the road? so its always hard to say...but nevertheless i guess i have certain advantage ba..like being more daring on road and stuff..haha..so yar realli hope nth major happen...

hows army? pple may ask me..haha well its still e same..and will be the same till i ORD! haha..one word...SIANZ! but sth interesting..i got myself an assisstant! he is NOEL YANG..lolz a very nice guy so lucky of me actually..now i can share my workload with him...thats why can have a bit more time myself to go exercise...

hey pple..its been quite long since i update my blog..haha..i doubt anyone acty read my blog..lolz..anw todae i took one day off from camp to go watch VS choir compete in SYF central judging..well two years ago we only managed to clinch a gold award..so this time round this batch of choir members are out there to get b the gold with honours...

well after many months of hardwork and perserverance from the members..i am proud to announce that they have done it! choir number 21..choir number 21..VICTORIA SCHOOL CHOIR...GOLD...WITH HONOURS! at that instance i was very happy..it just brought me b to four years ago when i was wearing that penguin suit sitting in SCH anxiously waiting for the result and jumped when they announced we got GOLD WITH HONOURS..all the flashbacks..i will never forget this period of time four years back..never ever will i forget all the times my choir went thru..never ever forget..never ever..(shit getting emo) lolz..

another week has passed just like that..good and bad lor..
bad cos did nothing meaningful this weekend..haha
good cos another book out /book in means nearer to ORD!! lolz

anw ytd finally gone for my first driving lesson..haha malu but i stalled engine thrice..lolz..the driving instructor say i very scared to step on accelerator thats why engine stall..lolz..haha..other than that i think quite okay ba..but a bit worried cos my tp on the 29th dunnoe whether can make it in time not..just hope for the best ba..

this morn went qing ming..to bright hill there..where my ah gong and ah ma were cremated..wow a lot of pple le..but still managed to get a glance at my ah gong and ah ma who are now resting in peace...well it acty got me thinking...treasure and cherish someone when he is still present..not until he or she is gone..by then no matter how much u cherish or regret its all too late..so same to friendship..true frens are those who will stand by you and treasure you as a fren..not those on the surface kind..so better distinguish and cherish your true frens before they are gone or drift away from you! lolz..haha

alright ba..this week will be a hectic week..got to go house visits...still got APEC stuff to do and of course..my own army company stuff..looks like more endless working nights for me..

ha. this week has definitely been a hectic week for me..having to juggle between company stuff and APEC planning..i had to work overnight..and its veyr tiring on the body..at aorund 1-2 am, still okay...then the zzz monster starts to kick in round 3 ...at 4-5 is the time where u fight the war with this zzz monster.. tryng very hard to open your eyes..at this point in time..your brain also starts to malfunction and u will tend to do a lot fo wrong and stupid things..classic example was ytd night..at around 4..i was wondering why my mouse cursor not working..then i realised like after 5 mins that the mouse was upisde down..how will it work? lolz..haha..at 6 onwards after waashing up your face suddenly u dun feel that sleepy anymore..just liek the zzz monster taking a break from the war..then the war will begin in the afternoon and evening..and NOW! lolz..but i cant sleep cos i still got work to do..lolz fancy someone bringing home work to do..lolz..so funny!

this week i was busy with APEC..gng round different hotels recce the areas around ..then afterwhich must plan routes for the buses to take..total of 33 hotels..wah worked till very late..wednesday till 6 am..thursday till 3 am..then ytd night also worked till 3 am..can u imagine i acty brought work b from army to do?haha..physically shagged..thats why today slept a lot..trying to regain my energy..but not very effective le.lolz...oh wells a good way to train yourself up! haha..11 december is all i care! ahah...
ytd night went to asik's 21 birthday party at his house..haha..had quite a fun time there...lolz..saw a lot of my VJ choir seniors..wo0oh brought me b to the italy times..haha..realli long time never meet up with my batch of choir peeps..hope all of them are doing fine..haha..

today i am on leave..ytd just finish a navex exercise..driving the octs around singapore training area..physcially shag cos reach b camp at midnight..then this morning have to move out b to sembwang at 5..lolz..

and finally i have gotten my 3SG rank..lolz..pay increment for all the sai gang i am doing..but this also means more sai gang coming my way..they have a saying..REC= Rest, Eat, play Catching...PTE= Paid To Eat...LCP= Lan Ciao Ping..CPL= Ciao Ping Leader...3SGT= Sai Gang Trooper...haha

tmr gng b camp to settle all the shit left for not being in coy line for the past two days..sianz! jia you johnnie! 9 more months to go and i will be free lor!!i ahve a wishlist after i ORD..a new laptop..a new phone..a new mp3..a new ROOM ALL TO MYSELF! for your info, right now i still do not have a room to myself.haha malu right? lolz.but oh wells its my family effort to save electricity by all squeezing in one room to sleep...haha quite effective though..lolz..

and i must save money! a lot of treats to settle..haha..lolz

this morning went for tuition in the morning..but there was a bit of miscommunication so i reached mandarin gardens at round 910 when my tuiiton starts at 10..haha..oh wells so i went to the void deck sit there, took out my psp play music and i sat there to mark work..lolz i think the cleaner aunt kept looking at me like as if i am trying to do sth funny and she is watching over me-.-

after tuition went b home and cooked..todae menu for myself is pork cutlet with baked potato and baked beans..haha..its very simple and delicious dish..one where u can treat your relatives and frens..haha

after that slack a bit at home before i went to NTU for imprezario 2009, NTU so called music fest..haha..and i went there with kian sin, jeremy and lai guang..to support WAH LE MAK, which consist of asik, hong sheng, wei jie and nicholas...they were very entertaining but in the end only won 2nd...still it was a very nice performance! after that sat lai guang car home..wooh he is one speed demon! haha..and he dun realli keep a look out for road situations which is quite dangerous actually..lolz..but oh wells..i still reached home safe and sound..haha..

tmr i am gng b camp for duty..then next saturday also my duty..in other words, i will not be b for exactly 7 days..lolz..very sianz!!

today had my class outing at thaipan..we had loads of food..esp butter squid and also lots of noise..till the older folks at the next table complained..after which we went to siglap area to chill in the macdonalds..definitely looking forward to the next outing estimated in may after all the uni pple finish their exams(: anw thanks a lot this time to si liang, kristian, yan long, iqbal, shang yunn, jessica, joan, sarah jane, janice, camy and amerlyn for attending this class outing..i def had a great time out there with you people..and i learnt a new codeword today..and that i am EVERGREEN!

today go out surely can see all the couples walking hand in hand..lolz and surely very crowded all the places...that is why i am in camp doing my COS duty!-.-...lets hope i can just slack around the whole day..haha..tmr i still need to go and help out in some APEC thingy..from 230 pm to 10 plus at grand copthrone hotel..haha but mostlikely will be going over to raffles hotel to help out in the social event..wooh..interesting wonder what i will be doing..lolz.i hope to start my driving lessons soon..haha cant wait to have the feeling of driving 50 km/hr and above!haha

i dunnoe why but feel that there is no CNY mood this year...no atmosphere too..most likely because i spent CNY in spore instead of malaysia..haha..in spore..we only have like two or three fmailies coming together to gamble and eat and stuff...but in malaysia its different..there are like thirteen families gathering at my grandma house during CNY eve for renuion dinner and alos we get to put friecrackers! someday i will upload the videos of me putting firecrackers in 2006 CNY..haha..the experience is realli different..so what do u have to do if u wan such privileges too? MARRY ME LA! lolz..ytd was nian chu yi..i went to my grandma house to offer her incence..hoping she will bless me this yr to finish my army smoothly, after which i came b home to prepare for the big feast i need to prepare..haha..what were the dishes? hmmmz..i cooked fried rice...grilled chicken wings..curry chicken..stingray..sambal sotong..sweet and sour pork..fried chicken wings and sth new i tried today..butter prawns! thanks to jh(: yupps it was a success, and my relatives loved it..i think as a cheef, what u wan to see is the people finishing all the food u cooked, and not just mere comments saying your food is nice..haha..when pple finish the food, u get that sense of satisfaction..haha..so what do u wan to do if u hope u dun need to cook in future and still get to eat quite good food?MARRY ME LA! lolz..haha..acty i still got a lot to learn from my mum la..she is the real expert here..haha..after dinner it was time to win some money! haha..can u imagine a table of like 8 gamblers..regardlesss of age..all sit tgh to play a very classic game BANDAD(blackjack)!!haha..played from 7 till 12 midnight before my aunties and uncles decided to chao b4 the mignight surcharge begins..haha..for me..ok la..i managed to win 15 bucks..haha..todae gng over to my auntie place..and it will be time for some gambling again! lolz..15 bucks shall be my 本钱..haha..tmr i need go b army liao..CNY over just like that..back to sian-ness!

once again its a friday! i am happy cos i am b home again..but this happiness is nothing new..oh wells..this week has realli been very taxing on me..this is becos i am like the only sect comm left in the company..the other thrree all on details..sianz..everything i have to be involved..wooh tiring! not much rest at all..but like what my superior said..this is army..it trains us mentally and physically so next time when we become better people in the outside world..and compared to him who has served for like 20 years..mine considered nothing! well what he said is true la..so i can only lan lan suck thumb lor..haha

CNY is coming..which means my pocket is going to grow again..but not much this year la..cos i not gng b to malaysia..shld be staying at home lor..but i am counting down to next year's CNY..where i will celebrate with my PINK IC in malaysia! haha..lolz..a year since i entered NS ..time realli flies!! and i think at this time..people are all trying to shop for clothes right?esp the gals..wooh..but for me..i think most likely i will be spending CNY with 4 polo tees and one jeans , two shorts! haha..which is enugh i think..oops..people keep saying johnnie u shld try new stuff..but i dunnoe why maybe from young very fat then now scared to go into those shops to try on clothes and stuff..like just take and go lor..haha..chinese this is called 怪癖 lolz..

ytd had a small choir gathering..8 pple turned up..me, aik leng, kian sin, law, sean tan, frederick, jing yuan and terry... frederick left us at round 7 cos he got to go watch movie with his dad at LIDO..well thanks for turning up anw though i noe my planning screwed up..haha..the rest of us had dinner at SEAFOOD HARVEST at bugis..food was o-k la..haha afetr that went to opp this muslim coffeee shop for a cheapo coffee..budget mar..haha..talked quite a bit..sorry guys i noe the outing was a bit boring cos we didnt realli do anything excpet serious just chill around..haha..but catching up with them afetr so long realli reminds me of the secondary school days..esp when we were in sec 4..our SYF year..we did alot of things tgh..will never forget those times..haha..having comm meeting till 7 in the night..until the uncle come knocking on the dorr say he want to lock up the place liao..and the times where i get angry with the choir and just sat there not saying anything and the next thing that came out was" KNOCK IT DOWN" haha..seriously la..i realli miss those days with u guys..haha..and the relief and happiness we got when we got GOLD WITH HONOURS and eventually top choir..the photo we took at SCH..arh..u can see everyone's genuine smile on their faces....

as i enter 2009, i got a lot to bring with me in 2008.. yesh indeed a new chapter of my life is beginning once again..but the previous chapters are still intact for future references..

i started the new chapter 2008 in Tekong..and told myself that i am gonna lose weight and scare everyone when i passed out from BMT..i made it..i did it..from 114 to 76 currently...i also told my frens the old johnnie will die and a brand new johnnie will emerge..physically and mentally..army has realli been fulfilling for me..all the things i went thru in army taught me a lot of life lessons..no wonder army transform boys to guys..haha..the way we handle things...a transition in my life i would never never forget...

well in 2008..i got to see who are the true frens to me and who are not..yesh i am not a gal..but to me friendship is very impt too..some frens can just conveniently forgotten abt you until one day u say hi to them..then they will turn around and say bye..thats all..a lot of experiences..myself and my frens when they rant to me it seems the same..close or good frens started to ignore and then slowly forget..haiz..why? is it cos we have done sth wrong to you "fren"? tell us if we did sth wrong so we can change..and not just neglect or ignore us..the feeling just sux u noe " fren"...unless for the past few years u have never regarded us as frens too.. i will not scold u or backstab u..but i will tell u "fren" that all these while i have always regarded u as a "fren" and i did what is necessary for me to be your fren...well..some of you may not understand what i am talking abt..but oh wells..its not meant to be explicit anyway...

in 2008, i have seen a lot of couples breaking up and i seem to be the one giving advices to them(of course not instigating them to break up la!)..like a love guru..haha..but oh wells form their experiences tells me sth..in a relationship if its only one sided..sooner or ltr the one who always gives in and compromises would get tried somehow..and a relationship is really not easy to maintian..some pple may think i am lucky to be single..but sometimes i think its not what lucky or not..they can be lucky too to be ina relationship but its just the way they handle their relationships and commitments..i have not been in a relationship b4 so i cant say much..but wells..its always nice to feel loved and noe that there is someone there that is always willing to be there for you..haiz... would it be another blank page for the subchapter "relationship" in this 2009?

bye 2008 and hello 2009! 2008 for me was nothing more than spending in army..from tekong to sembawang..haha..but it has been a satisfying year for me..having to lose from 114 to now 76..i also learnt a lot of lessons this year..thanks to all those who have encouraged and motivated me to go thru my hardest first 6 months in tekong! glad that i have such frens..though not alot..haha..2009 if u ask me what resolutions i have? hmmmz..i havent realli gone to think abt it..but then i just hope this will be a smoooth year for me..finish my army and then maybe i will think more abt the resolution for 2010..haha

ytd went to the countdown carnival held at marina barrage with kian sin and aik leng..we reached there around 8 so got quite a good spot..talked cock..played cards and practically waiting for 12 am to come..haha..but the view from marina barrage was just splendid! haha and its a perfect place to bring your gf around and chill somewhere..not at a festive date la!haha..but then the fireworks display was nice esp the last part where they spam a lot of them at one go..though short la..aferwhich we waited for a whil walked around till round 1 then made our way b..luckily by then the main crowd was gone and the MRT was not crowded! haha..reached home and slept till now! ltr gonna meet my sec 1 sec 2 clique..shawn benjamin and frederick! haha..wonder what lame stuff we gonna do and laugh about..haha..

ytd night was quite emo..dunnoe why also..this morning too..thinking abt a lot of stuff..am i very stupid? sometimes i realli wonder..why must the heart and mind always conflict? haiz..

but afternoon went out to chill with kian sin before meeting with aik leng for dinner at thaipan! they got another branch at CHANGI VILLAGE..haha..well the prices at changi village a bit higher as compared to mandarin gardens wan..anw thaipan is moving back into mandarin gardens in the first week of november..so yeah the boss never change for your info..haha..after dinner we went to walk along changi beaach all the way to SFT..which brought back memories when i was a recruit..and just nice today is sunday so we could see buses carrying the recruits to the ferry terminal..and the recruits falling in before they move into the terminal row by row..haha those were the days..6 months of these book in blues every weekend..haha..well as usual had serious as well as rubbish talks with aik leng and kian sin...hmmz..after that went to Pasir Ris interchange and again saw recruits at the interchange waiting for their buses to bring them to the terminal..and look at their sulky faces..haha..after that went to whitesands and bought drinks before heading home..haha..tmr i will be starting my two weeks MSET course..stay out also..my new unit posting will be on the 5th november..quite exciting to noe where i will get posted..hahaha..

these few days of driving has drained my mental capacity really..and the weather has been very screwed up too..a while shine and the next thing u noe..heavy downpour..and thats why at the start of the week caught a flu...haha..and i very embarrassing la..never bring tissue paper..then in bus my nose started running..then i had to use my shirt to wipe off..disgusting..but no choice ma..then this nice guy took out a toilet roll form his bag and pass me a stack of toilet paper..haha..veyr funny acty..haha i thot he was gonna take out a packet of tissue..he go and take out toilet paper?! hahha..but nice guy la..to offer me haha..

halo pple..today i officially end my tpt supervisor course on a high note..we ended with our last exercise..UNDERSLUNG..haha..it simply meant hooking up load onto a chopper/helicopter..haha i was appointed the hook up man for the landrover...wow..bascially we have to stand on the landrover with one of our peers and the instructor supporting me while i try to hook the load up to the chopper flying right above me! it was scary but definitely an experience of a lifetime!ahaha...seeing the rotor blade turning was very scary but the wind it produces even scarier..if u not stable and no pple suporting u will lose balance and fall down wan!haha..so yeah..

came back with all my stuff cos i officially stay out till i get posted to my new unit..haha..and then went out again to celebrate kian sin birthday with joshua and aik leng..haha..very funny..at first we decided to go to siglap area there see got what to eat..then we decide to go cafe cartel INITIALLY..haha then we went in and joshua said why dun go airport terminal 3? then we all like OH YA HOR! haha..so we weanted to walk off but since they so nice serve us sky juice a.k.a water liao..so we decided to buy a dessert to share..haha..意思意思 ma..haha..then we procced on to terminal 3 and had dinner at this place called earl swenson..wah the prices is like a bomb sia! haha..but their salad buffet bar..rocks according to joshua la..but i decisded against and just ordered my own main course w/o the salad buffet..haha...so yeah was talking and stuff..but maybe cos of the underslung exercise that made me so tired..i didnt talk a lot..haha..sorry kian sin!! after that we went back home lor..and poof! now i am here blogging..haha...alright go liao..hakuna matata!!!

haha..today is our country 43rd birthday..wooh..realli fast..another yr is gng to pass haha..realli like a blink in the eye lor..haha last yr at this time i was still worrying over studies and NS haha..so fast and i already noe how to drive...haha i got my class 3 and 4 military licence liao..haha but the bad thing is i need to clock 7000 km in order to convert to civi licence at the end of my NS life..aha but i am a transport supervisor..must give priority to my drivers to drive..how to clock the mileage? haha so i am gonna get my outside licence myself lor..haha..then can drive liao..haha driving is realli not difficult just a bit mentally stressed sometimes.haha..my driving test was on thursday and i managed to pass my this 1st driving test which i think is quite lucky la..haha..8 demerit points..the tester was like saying i cock eye never see road markings but i did la..well dun argue with tester..haha..as long as i pass i happy..haha..hmmmz..

normal day for me..wake up extra early today cos got parade..haha so the whole day i like jiang shi walking around and catching sleep whenever the time allows me to..good news and bad news! good news is i am starting my driving lessons TMR!! haha..so give me two months and i can drive when i go out..no more crowded MRT and buses for me..haha
now the bad news..tmr onwards u wont see me blogging every night liao..haha..cos tmr onwards i am STAYING IN!sad cos no luxury of the comp every night and also no aircon to sleep..but then since Sembawang camp is so freaking far away..i dun mind staying in! haha..but todae we went to prepare our bunks and i realise that BMT bunk is so much cleaner and better..here like no one maintain wan..so much dust!!hahhaa...yeah..and we had a transport admin test before we could come back home..there are 50 qns and we need to get 80% to pass..if not have to redo the test till we pass then can go home..i PASSED on my first trial!haha..wooh..though a lot pple passed too..haha..yeah..

haha..wooh ytd i booked out in the morning..come b home rest for a while then off i go to orchard to watch the VJ choir busk..haha it was quite good..though i find their actions a bit funny..luckily the choir performed before the dancers..cos its like the dancers dance like damn high al their moves and stuff..then the choir actions so anti climax..haha..but anw it was nice la..after that went to harmoc concert with keith rhoda prissy and zheng whye..haha bought a coffee so i wont fall asleep..haha..well guess i should not buy the large cup cos it kept me away even when i reached home..AH DEH..couldnt sleep la..so went to watch random soccer match..haha..until 3 plus..well still cannot slp so listen to music lor..till i sort of fell asleep..haha...

well i should say the harmoc concert was great!(: so thanks jh for inviting me to this concert(: this is what i call enjoyable concert cos we heard the songs before..haha..not some random competition pieces.haha..only those who are in harmoc can appreciate ..haha yeah..and they played WHEN YOU BELIEVE..haha..felt like gng down to the stage take the mic and sing=p hahah..this is to me like a VS choir theme song..cos we specially paid 1500 bucks to record this song..and i believe all of us loved this song(: haha..

HEYS a new year means a new beginning! and pple ask me whats my new year resolution..hmmmz...firstly i wanna slim down..haha secondly is for all my frens to be always happy and smile!!haha...

todae i am booking in again...these few days were fun..haha ytd went out to TM to watch movie AVP2..the graphics very dark cant see properly how they kill and all that..haha..i learnt sth from the movie..the part when they were deciding whether to go the the central where there was supposedly an airlift but underlying is the risk that the colonel who told them abt the airlift lied and they will then be surrounded by the aliens..the second was to take the tank to the hospital where there is a helicopter which can bring them out of the town..however the risk is that they may run into the aliens at the hospital and get killed or the pple at the hospital may already have used the helicopter to escape...well i learnt that in life every decision u made encompasses certain risk in it..so think properly before making a decision...haha.

then in the nite went to my fren house to play majong...lost 5 bucks! sianz!!haha...oh wells we watched the countdown party there..2007 is a year filled of alot of stuff, emotions..haha..2008 is up and a new year means a new beginning for me..but i am happy cos my frens say mystomach has shrinked(: yay..must cont working hard johnnie!

however i have a lot of mixed feelings in me now..frens la family la..haha army is like a breakaway from these things..i noe i may be avoiding reality but oh wells..sometimes booking in is a happy thing for me..hahaha..alrite till next week..see you guys and gals..

HALO!ok officially now its down to 10 days! 10 days to my enlistment! i am getting more and more scared and emo..haiz..i dunnoe whats in stored for me! thats what that make me scared..10 days and i wan do a lot of things..realli..there is not enugh time..realli..whenever i go to slp i will keep thinking and thinking..of stuff! from young to now..haha..i am like a two sided man..outside of house i am a very jovial person but inside the house whenever i am alone..i get emo very easily..i am realli realli scared of army...realli scared..i am giving myself three days to cry in there!i am in a dilemna once again! well i guess maybe its me again bar..maybe i think too much and very sensitive? i realli dunnoe..sometimes chances are hard to come by..but u dunnoe whether that chance is urs or someother pple wan..esp when u noe the probability that that chance is meant to be yours..well i think its just me la..ARGH!! i have never tried sth very bold b4..maybe i shld..if it turns out bad..i expected it..if it turn out good..its an added bonus!but 99.9999% it will be bad..i realli dunnoe la!anw i am gng army soon! so all those who find me irritating will no longer get irritated by me(:if u are confused..good..i dun wan u to be oo clear too! haha..oh wells..10 days 10 days..BMT..RARH!!

HALO!i am finally back from malaysia...SIBU, SARAWAK! let me intro a bit..its just a small little er..town? or village? haha...but then the experience was fun! i became a part time tuition teacherteaching kids english and chinese at my aunt's tuition centre called 2020 tuition centre for one week! haha..the kids were quite naughty but afterall i was a very good teacher k(: haha..the most touching thing is a few of them came and send me off ytd! gave me small packets of sweets!WOW..i almost like teared la!

we went to kampong..very funny cos although the place was called a kampong but then my uncle house is like a very big bungalow! haha...rite infront is the Rajang River and behind are mountains or shld i say hills...nice feng shui rite? haha..gambled there..cheated all the kids money!haha...but in the end i returned all my winnings to them gave them somemore money for them to buy sweets..the kids there are not like singaporeans..they are satisfied with money to buy more sweets and candies!

haha..i cooked crabs once again..black pepper! woah i tell u sarawak pepper is the best man! haha..this time the woks and fire are like my house wan! haha...so i cooked and it was nice! my relatives all loved it! and i made salad too..they love it too! thanks!haha

well..i reflected quite a lot too during this trip..consulted with my uncle on certain stuff..woah enlightening man! what is not meant to be yours would never be yours..the best is just brush pass your shoulders thats all..well i guess he is rite!so i dun wan waste anymore time..my time of fun is going to be up soon so i am gonna enjoy it! well like what nutty professor said..now that u see my true self..if u wan leave just leave bar..i wont blame you..yeah! haha..yupps...

halo! today i receive a very sad news...pavarotti died ytd due to pancreatic cancer..this made me to think..why would god always like to take away these pple..but never fail to let them suffer physically and mentally b4 they are taken away? i guess god has his own reasons and we can only guess the reasons...

since all of us will die eventually..whether tmr..next yr..or 80 yrs down the road..why must there still be bad times in our lives? stress lar..sad lar..emo lar..often over minor things..or unnecessary things...but all these lies in our hands..we are the ones who can determine whether we are sad..emo stress or happy...no one else can...maybe god can...but still..i believe he is not that bad to take away that little freedom from us...so why not we live everyday in happiness? there are 24 hrs in a day...and dun tell me u cant find things to be happy abt in that whole 24 hrs? that will be absurd...

HALO!! haha...looks like i have not been updating consistently...sorry..haha..anw..today is a sunday...and as usual i whipped up a four course meal for my family..starting with appetiser a veggie-fruit salad( thanks to veegie gal for the ingredients((:)...second course is the mushroom soup...then main course is beef steak with creamy white sauce...then desert is a float with raspberry vanilla ice cream((: aha..hope they like it..haha...
